    It's a 40mm shell that holds 10 rounds of .22LR.

that could possibly be a 37mm shell, no one in their right mind carrying a 203 would load that shit in their weapon.

    It's a 40mm round.

People use them in there M79s, 203s, etc all the time. Apparently they have one hell of a kick. The 14(?) rounders however are not recommended for a 203.

    The people that own M203s?

They're not rare by any means and at $1500-$3k anyone who meets the qualifications can own one.

Wonder if they make these in 37mm, and if they'd work out of a Spikes standalone launcher.

I want one of them (the Spikes), but I can't find any good usage for it. I'm not hip on all the laws, so I'm not sure if it's legal to load explosives in them, nor how difficult sourcing/reloading 37mm rounds is. Me thinks it would be fun as shit though.

You'd have to register it as a DD.

Because you're using a flare launcher as more than a flare launcher.

Yeah, anyone can buy a 37mm launcher for flare use. But once yu want to start shooting buckshot, these beehive rounds, flechette, etc etc. Your then using an unregistered DD.

    No it's a 40mm round.

These arent govt issued items. Some invention some guy came up with for your DD M79, M203 etc etc.

Gotcha. I figured there was a line somewhere.

A $500 flare launcher isn't my thing. If I can't send HE rounds into piles of tannerite, then I'm not interested.

You own/play with and DD stuff David?
