took me the better part of the evening to finish, mainly because once i was done wiring and installing 1 of the wire splices came loose & i had to redo the entire wiring for the side again.........big PITA.

The dinan front strut bar was very easy to install

here she was before the instal:

    here it is after:

Its a much nicer look for sure.

Here are a few when i first installed the driver side AE's & compared them to the clear halogens i had on the passenger side:

all in all, very good upgrades & well overdue on the AE's! Love the new Xenon's vs. the old halogens i had, much nicer improvement!

Now I just need to find a legal xenon upgrade for a mustang.

As you get ready to sell the Z a slight shift of the money pit to the 540 is noticed... :)

lol u should have seen the $ i put into her when i bought her, snagged her for $24,900 & then within the first 3 months did about $8k more worth of goodies....meant to do the AE's last year but was tired of putting so much cash into then, so i held off till now. (yes i'm addicted to the mod)

I don't blame you. All BMWs should have AEs.

most likely a supercharger......dont a ton to the car in the past year i've owned her:
    steering wheel
    wheels
    suspension
    tint
    cd changer
    european midconsole
    battery storage unit
    ECU
    intake
    hi flow cats
    resonator elimination
    color match molding
    painted the chrome shadow trim
    etc etc

still thinking of m5 sway bars too & perhaps better differential.

:werd: love the sporty look the GT3's give the 540, specially liked the way the "satin" finish of the rims looks against the silver paint

    FINALLY!

i want to jerkoff to your 5 but i'm too tired..

    since we're on topic..
just curious, what is the milage on the car and has it given you any issues?

there are quite a few higher milage (80-100k) going for cheap and the only thing that is scary is the potential issues..

thanks man, she is looking much nicer w/ the AE's done.
The car had about 52k when i bought her 13 months ago, now she has about 61k on her.
    I've had the following issues:
    >notorious radiator failure at 58k miles
    >trunk soloniod
    >new 02's
    >new cluster (covered by CPO)
    >new valve gaskets (covered by CPO)

think those are the only issues i had so far.
