I'm from southern california... I've had plenty of gay friends... I'm not uninformed or ignorant, but I've just never had to deal with something like what happened last night. I work at a lounge in an upscale part of town in Boston and a very well known University had an event there. A huge group of kids from 18-mid 20s for some group they were all a part of. Pretty well mixed crowd, saw a lot of pretty lewd club behavior including a couple new ones (lesbian dancefloor manual stimulation ) but that's all pretty standard for a club. Two guys approach me and ask me if there is somewhere "more private." I give them the stern no and they immediately about face and go into the bathroom... give them the benefit of the doubt and wait about 4 minutes hoping they're using the bathroom/making out or whatever. 5 minutes pass and I go in to check but on my way in some girl taps me on the shoulder and goes "Oh my god did * go in there with *?!" I just ignore her and walk in, only to see knees on the ground in the stall. I get a manager and we kick them out, only to see the same girl as we're walking them out of the establishment. She then proceeds to run around the entire dancefloor: Oh my god * is gay oh my god blahblahblah... Not really any way else to handle that and I don't know how responsible it is to be having sex in a club stall if you're closeted but still It was a bit sad seeing him walk around outside... most ashamed and depressed I've ever seen someone look before. To make matters worse he left his shit inside and we were so packed we couldn't go get it, so his friends had to gather his shit and leave with him... they didn't look happy. Just wanted to share that somewhere with some actual meaningful responses.
