the conditioning is similar to boxing when I used to do that a few years back. Really excited to get into this!

Its got to be probably the baddestass form of fighting i've come across so far.....

It's designed for self defense, rather than sport fighting.

I don't know what you're talking about...this shit is all about taking someone out with the maxiumum amount of damage as fastly as possible. I do it in troy.

the cost is around $145/mo...so its not cheap at all

I dont do krav maga (i do Muay thai) but Ive read about it and it seems like its a hit or miss.

either there is a bunch of fat fucks in your class trying to get in shape

well as far as I know there isn't a real system (like belts) in KM that is a good gauge of experience or level of skill

just based on how long you've been doing it, if you have credentials for teaching/instruction, or you're like a fucking Israeli soldier

    for most martial arts, no

for something like brazilian jiu-jitsu, it's a pretty good gauge

there are even plenty of blue belt instructors out there that are pretty damn good

LOL @ not knowing the history of the system.

Back then they had no colors. Everyone was given a white belt and never changed belts. Overtime throwing and practicing in the yards/schools the belts would pick up some color or shade to them... eventually turning darker to black.
