I applied for a network technician job at the nearby hospital. We'll see if i get called. It would be nice to have a 9-5 job and a structure. I kinda miss the interactions with people but I hate office politics. I'd also like to have good health insurance again and a 401k and all that.

Are you going to keep working on your business in your spare time?

Good luck, but if you hate office politics, a hospital probably isn't going to be much better. I had a job for a short while at a hospital as a computer technician, so much red tape and politics I quit after 2 months. I couldn't plug a new/repaired workstation in without getting the OK from an electrical technician, a network admin, a supervisor from the department it was in, and my supervisor. The process to remove a workstation was worse, bashing my nuts with a tire iron would have been easier and less painful.

Otherwise good times, great pay and benefits, free health checkups and prescriptions. The chain from peon to big wig is long, so a lot of advancement opportunities as well.

10k a month passive income and you are bored? Why not let it drop to 7k, do less work and go have some fun?

cause fun requres me spending money. I spent about 2 hours today at the gun range sighting in my new rifle I got. That fun cost me about 1300 with scope and gun and accessories.

Im in the same boat. Been doing business on my own since 2000. Pretty much achieved all my goals and realized I miss working "with" people in a collaborative environment.

    Good luck.
