You know, I only hate whedon because of how much you fucks suck his dick. He's ok, just not the jesus people make him out to be. His shit is relatable because his shit is so average, it has mass appeal.

I'm surprised they didn't get someone more well known for directing. Then again, maybe they just wanted to cut costs since the cast would probably already be too expensive to pay.

Not the best choice, but in all honesty a lot ofdoubt when Jon Favreu was cast as the director for Iron Man. All of which were put to rest very quickly once the movie was released.

We can only wait and see. Hopefully he'll do it justice.

Whedon's shit is as mediocre as pabst.

No he doesn't. He made cap cry. He uses the most cliche'd bullshit to tug people along.

He uses things like NYC firemen and cops to create a 1-dimensional shallow image to get you to care about what's happening in comic book scenes and he totally fucked up runaways. How is it that he knows comics? He's got such a shallow non human look at how people and relationships are it's surreal.

No, you don't want the first part of the setence. All that stuff about mediocrity and stuff. But yeah, totally ignore that part, you need to get your point across.

Says the guy whose namesake state's main export is mediocrity.

Dude that was a fluke of a movie. They didn't even have the script written when they were filming. If it weren't for Robert Downey Jr. the movie would've tanked.

I mean, it's very entertaining, but the movie on a whole was really contrived and shallow.

But... I guess that is who Iron Man is, so I guess it's not that big of a deal.

No, we'll see Cap crying and letting himself get arrested after we see a montage of NYC police officers and firemen standing on top of a broken down building with an american flag waving in the background and the twin tower lights shining up through the sky.

    But not before our plucky heroes get to say great lines such as;

"We're getting too old for this!"
"This isn't what I signed up for!"
    "Get him!"
"Now THIS is what I'm talking about!"
"I'm don't get paid enough to do this."
    "I'm gonna kill fury!"

You watch and see. You just watch and see.

You said it was relatable, which also isn't a bad thing, and that it was average. Nothing about mediocrity.

he just threw the idea of cap seeing the error of his ways...he didn't write that piece of shit

if he takes as much care into the story and characters as he did with astonishing x-men or firefly, then he'll do just fine.
