I have a panasonic deck in my car and it sounds absolutely horrible, when I listen to CD's it sounds worse than the radio in my old car. Can this be related to wiring or can it be the headunit?

Any easy way to test without ripping half my car apart?

CDs, radio, everything sucks. The sound almost becomes distorted. I really think it's my head unit. After work when I got into my car it was fucking cold inside. I turn on the stereo and it sounds the best it ever has. Then slowly degraded on my way home. I'm still going to upgrade wiring. When I replaced my blown out rear speakers the cabling was just :ugh:

Its possible that it is a loose connetion, and when the metel expands and contracts with the temp that you get a better signal. not very likely, but thats what was wrong with my cable.
