I have a couple of old .22s for sale on the local classified gun section.... I got a call last night from a blocked number, asking about them.. But he started out like " I hear you have a couple of guns for sale?" Im like,, ya, a few, did you see them on KSL? ( The name of the website ). He said, No I just heard about them... ( Meanwhile I hear him typing furiously between each of his sentences ). He asked me how many rounds they could hold, I answered, them more typing in the background.... Asked me what kind of magazine they have.... More typing.... Asked me if I required a driver's license to buy them... More typing.... I told him, it's cash and carry, must be 18. I was kind of weirded out because usually when someone calls, they already know all about the rifle I'm selling. He asks me if I will ship it to him in Idaho, I said no...... more furious typing.... He asked if he could send a friend to go pick it up, I said I wouldn't be able to tell if it was him or his friend coming to pick it up, so it wouldn't matter.... More typing.... He asked me if it still had serial numbers, I told him they were produced in the 30s and 40s and they did not have serial numbers because they were not required back then.... More typing... He asks " What's your address". Im like, ok, WTF.... I told him I usually just meet at the grocery store at X intersection to do any sales. He said thanks for the info, ten seconds of typing, and hung up. WTF???
