I usually do cardio for 30 min, then do my weights routine. Is that the correct way? Or are you suppose to do weights and then do cardio? im alittle confused on the matter, thanks

weights one day and cardio on another, never on the same. the only cardio you should do on weight day is 5 min warmup.

  5. You make it sound like you'll die if otherwise. Why can't you do carido and weights on the same day if you can handle it? :ugh:

Depends on your priorities and how much time you have.

    YOu are an idiot.

Cardio can be done everyday 7x a week if need be. Doesn't matter if you train with weights or not. I'm doing it 6x a week 45min plus 1 hour weight training.

To the original poster you can do

    cardio in morning
    weights in afternoon

    weight in morning
    cardio in afternoon

    weights
    protein shake
    cardio

    45mins of weights
Followed by 45 mins of cardio.

It's nice to do weights, then 20mins of x-ski or jog, and then do 20mins of laps in the pool :dunno:

I used to wait a few hours in between cardio and weight lifting. Typically I would do one in the morning, and the other in the evening/night.

Me too... right after lifting... my heart rate's usually "in the zone" or near it... otherwise... sometimes... it takes a long time to get my heart rate up...

    ditto

might as well do some cardio while your heart rate is up.

hell, if you're doing arms, you get your heart rate up to 140...jump on the bike or treadmill or x-ski machine and work on toning your legs while you're at it and do cardio.

i just don't do cardio after leg day :noes:
