When I am doing these is the plate supposed to be behind my head or on my chest? I can feel it a lot more on my abs behind my head, but I see most people doing them on their chest

    I do 5 sets of 8-15 reps

I've been using the GHR instead of the decline

I do decline situps 5x10. Ideally you put the weights behind your head, but when I do mine I lay all the way down with my head on the bench every rep, so I hold the weights straight up over my head just for comfort reasons.

    1. get weight
    2. get on the decline bench with weight on your chest
    3. sit up enough to get your back off of the bench
    4. grab the weight and extend your arms straight out
    5. twist to one side, then the other

I've been holding the plate like a medicine ball getting a nice extension while i rear back on the negative. However, I know that once I strengthen up my abs I will be moving to a behind the head grip.
