I currently use a weight vest during cardio, 60lbs. it has realy helped me hit a new level of training. I just purchased a smaller vest that only holds 40 lbs that i should be able to wear with some old fat person work shirts i still have...how many more calories do you think i can burn just adding 40 lbs of weight to my daily activity....work,driving, working, shopping...stuff like that. thanks guys

There are way too many factors to take into consideration in this situation. There's no way anyone on here can make a very accurate estimate.

I think these guys are right. At first i got 442, but then i realized i did not carry the 4 and the answer must be 438.

I was once told that wearing a weight vest around for daily activity was bad for the joints. T/F?

I'd have to agree with the others, but on a related subject I like your avatar!

we can't tell you that, but wearing that for a prolonged duration can't be a good thing.
