anyone know where i can find those weights that were used in the TUF training facility? :x:

the weights were yellow, red, blue, or green with an odd design in the center.

if i can find a pic of them i'll post it up for reference.

A little expensive for my tastes. I'm looking into picking up an olympic set though.

So they are less likely to be damaged or damage the floor.

There are a number of excercises, especially Olympic Lifts, that can chip or otherwise damage the plates.

it was more of a sarcastic question, damaging a weight should be the least of your worries

ok....you can get the same thing at walmart for like 150 bucks.

Those are just pretty and rubber COATED. Ivanko makes great Olympic bumper plates, but those are not them. Granted they will be top quality but there are hundreds of cheaper options.

If you want to spend that kind of money, buy real olympic bumper plates which can be dropped from waist height or so. That is waht they are made for, they are almost solid rubber with a small steel core. That is what you see when you watch oly lifts. You can buy expensive competition bumpers from elienko or ivanko or you can get "training bumpers" like I have for about 1.50 a pound.
