ok, some background first :o i'll make it quick.

    1. used to have asthma as a kid
    2. started playing soccer avidly....got down to about 140 lbs.
    3. got injured in soccer after 3 yrs....tore my rotator cuff, had to wear a brace on my right knee for almost 12 months.
    4. didnt do SHIT after i got injured. i'll readily admit that i was indisciplined, ate whatever i wanted WHENEVER i wanted, didnt ever work out again, etc.
    5. got tired of my body, and asthma was even coming back....got my 1st job out of college, was back in a regular routine, and started eating CLEAN as hell, working out religiously, and overall feeling better about myself :hs:

So.....here's a starting pic, and where i'm at now....i still have a LONG way to go.... :( any advice would be much appreciated.

:hs: hopefully i'm making some good progress...:hsd:

    clean...:hs:

    i eat every 3, 3 1/2 hours......

breakfast is usually oatmeal + banana

    mid morning snack is..grapes

lunch is salad, plus 1/2 sandwich on whole grain with veggies. or something like that

snack is protein bar + some nuts

dinner, another salad...and i never eat heavy starchy stuff like rice, pasta, etc after 8 pm.

oh, and 3-4 protien shakes throughout the day :o

then, i lift 5 days a week...do cardio each day as well. saturday is cardio/abs day, sunday is off day.

been dion that for a while now...progress just seems to be slow at times.

i would agree. seeing as how well you're dieting, and working out so much you should maybe have better progress. 20lb is definitely decent though. maybe you're working out too much? more time to rest?

    more off days? :dunno:

i usually split up my muscle groups each day when i'm lifting.....perhaps I could combine them?

maybe a 3 day split as opposed to 5?

    i.e monday - Chest/Tris wednesday - shoulders/back fri - Legs

The more muscle you build the faster your fat will go.

Um, you might want to ask someone in here whos more familiar with cutting than me, but it looks like youre eating more food than you need.

diet looks fine, and if you're loosing weight on it, its especially fine. probably wouldnt be a bad idea to figure out about how many calories you're taking in every day so you can adjust it along the way.

do you eat meat?... 3-4 Protein shakes are kind of unnecessary and it is better to get your protein from whole foods than simply shakes. Log your diet in fitday, try to eat 11-12 times your bodyweight in calories and make sure you are doing cardio + lifting

eventhough it isnt much to brag, but getting rid of the preggo belly is an accomplishment IMO. congrats :bigthumb:

eventhough you would have a hard time working your lower body, how about some simple dumbbells to mess around at home with? im sure you can still shoulder press, tricep work, bicep, rows, etc

majority of your calories need to be between breakfast and lunch. Dinner should be the lightest. You need to eat more for lunch. Add some chicken(some type of meat) for lunch and more veggies.

    Are you drinking enough water?

It doesnt look like you put on any muscle if you lift 5 days a week. But good job man, I have lost 18 lbs too.
