I'm 5'6" and 130 pounds and am a very active competitive soccer player with a very fast metabolism. I’m lookin to gain some weight, anywhere from 10-15lbs and I thought I'd ask for OT's help before doing any research on the net. So here are some of my questions and thanks ahead of time for any help.

I'm wondering when would be the best time to work out, before or after my 3 hour long soccer sessions.

What protein is the best and when I should be taking it, before or after soccer and/or working out. How much protein should I be consuming a day?

I'm currently taking NO2 for my workouts and it helps me during my workouts. Is there something better for me to take than NO2 and is there anything types or protein or other supplement that would compliment NO2?

And if you guys have any other comments or ideas that would help me gain some weight with during pre-season other than the use of steroids I’m all ears =). Thx.

i really suggest you DON'T gain weight. i used to be a very active soccer player, at your height, but at 110. im now 160+. im just as agile and probably even faster, but breaking on the ball and sudden stops just tears up my joints. i never felt achy after a game when i was much lighter, but now i have to play conservatively so i dont have to hobble for a couple hrs after the gmae

I used to play soccer, but I havent done much recently. Basketball experience leads me to agree with not gaining too much weight too quickly. I went from 180 - 225 fairly quickly, and while I maintained agility and speed...I find my joints ache more, and I am more prone to shin splints. Just my 2 cents:bigthumb:

If you enjoy soccer than indoor Rec league or just play everynow and then for fun, 3 hours of practice for something that you'll only play for enjoyment seems like a waste of energy

Well basically fellas, I'm not trying to gain 20+ im just lookin around 10-15 at the most... I consider myself a skinny guy and would like to gain some muscle so I'm not completely muscled around on the field.

As of right now I can stand my ground on a 1v1 but at times I feel so over powered and I know if I through on some muscle (not too much) it would help me out.
