i'm checking out gnc for weight gainers... and... any specific brand I should buy or is it all the same? i'm 5'4" 115lb.. and yea, i'm pretty damn small and skimpy so I kinda do need to bulk up.. any tips for the small guy?

btw am I suppose to drink this before or after work out?

oh i'm just reading one of these labels.. "Mix 3 rounded scoops to 24 fl. oz. of cold water " thats 3 cups of liquid!! are they serious about drinking this all at one time?

3 cups of liquid, holy shit!

it takes some unusual "weird" habits to get big, if you can't deal with it, find something else.

cytogainer is awesome i love the taste. and you dont have to follow the serving sizes if you cant drink that much. just break it up troughout the day.
oh and you can always mix it with milk to up the calories and protein

so solid food gives you diarrhea? instead of whey protein or these weight gainer powders, just eat a can of tuna, or make your own weight gain shake

i see a lot of these weightgainer powders on the market that can be bought, but i dont see much reason to buy them (maybe its just bc i'm poor). weight gain shake i've been making for myself lately is as follows, and i dont think its much worse than the stuff that you can buy in powder form

    2 cups 2% Milk
    Ice
1 Cup Quaker old fashioned oatmeal
    1 Serving natty peanutbutter
1 or 2 scoops chocolate whey protein
    1 banana

its right around 800 - 1000 calories. and if the whey gives you diarrhea, substitute in cottage cheese maybe? or just eat some lean meat

i use cytogainer with the recommended 4 scoops. i usually drink it post workout. I think until N3, the replacement for N-Large, comes out, this works just as well.

I heard "food" is great but just like many other supplements, "food" can cause cancer, diabetes, obesity, cardiopathy, etc and you might want to be cautious with this.
