So if 1.5-2.5 lbs of fat loss per week is acceptable, what is acceptable weight gain of lbm? 2lbs / month? I don't guess it's a matter of what is better, more so, what is attainable?

I once heard 1 pound a week was a highest number of LBM you could put on without too much fat, but I can't remember the source so I wouldn't take that all too seriously.

If you're a noob, you can probably aim at 1lb a week, other then that, patience is the key unless you use gear.
