Weight Gain Commandments

    In an effort to regain my motivation to lift I started looking for "commandments to weight gain" or something like that. I think it was from T-nation. I can't seem to find them anywhere

    One of them was "don't drink anything that doesn't have calories" and other advice included "take a jar of honey everywhere and dip things like potato chips in it," or something like that.

    Anyone have ideas on where I can find this? Thanks.

    i respect JM for his PL accomplishments but follow this advice if you want to add a ton of fat. you can do this, or sack up and eat healthier calories. don't need to be super anal, but no reason to eat awful and take a bag of chips and dip them in honey tho that sounds delicious

    Yeah, but I think this is geared more towards those people who says "I can't gain weight no matter what I do!"

    Then when they read this, they'll know there is no way they are doing all they can do to gain weight.

    i have to dirty bulk, but i have like little fat on me


    5'6 @ 120 pounds :hsd:


    gained 5 pounds since i sta rted working out though and feel alot better. just have to eat 3 solid meals a day and 3 mini snacks throughout.


    i realise totally why everyone says diet is soo important.


    lifting weights i get, eating i have to work on

    the best way to gain weight is to hype yourself up at the gym by yelling out


    "yeaaaah BUDDEEH! light weight BABEEEEEH!" every possible moment you can.

    I gained 10 solid pounds in a month. I drank 1-2 800 cal shakes a day. Had 6 meals NOT including the shakes. I drank a lot of water, because hydrated muscles absorb protein better. Worked out obviously. The mayo and honey thing is retarded. if you are eating a lot of big meals, you shouldnt really have room for snacks inbetween, since you eat every 2 hours. But yeah, peanuts if you want a snack.Use milk AND icecream with your protein shake (prepare to have the worst gas ever, eveyday)

    I know the concept is complex and can be difficult for the layman to understand, but there's no real way to dumb it down. So here it goes

    i can guarantee you that wasnt 10 pounds of lean body mass though :p
