I shot a wedding a few weekends ago. Pretty much had the worst conditions of any wedding I've been too. The girls got ready in the Bride's small apartment which was jam packed with people, no where to get some space. It poured the whole day, everyone crammed under an EZ-up and I basically get any of the shots I wanted. Going into it I had a backup for everything except an extra body so I invited my friend to shoot also. His 40D quit working towards the end of the ceremony (got wet, D50 was fine) which made me pretty nervous.

All in all, I learned a ton and I learned rain really sucks for weddings.

Enough of the excuses, here's a few pics I tried to salvage.

Oh yeah, the groom is like a foot taller than the bride. I did have a good time though, about as informal a wedding as you can have but they seemed really happy.

You got some nice shots despite the rain.

four looks over-sharpened to me, but i am on a shitty office computer so it might be me.

nice salvage. should have done a trash the dress session in the rain :)

Some of the skin looks a little plastic-esque, and you should have perspective corrected the dress shot.

super quick fix. hope you don't mind.

Other than that, pretty good save.

the reason I like it is because the blurriness of the picture gets the point across of them 'running' to get out of the rain. :dunno:

    I always love motion shots.

    Thanks

You're right, it is. I fixed it in their gallery. And I tried, she wanted to do it, mom nixed the idea.

    Thanks

Good call, I'll fix that one

9 was fun, I basically just walked ahead of them snapping shots as they squeezed under some branches (the trees were drooping a ton because of the rain.)
