Hmm, new dunlops are suppose to be really good not sure what they called em. get any soft compound tires man, you might save few bucks on long lasting hard tires but you will have HUGE loss of traction and they are a FKN nightmare in wet driving conditions.

For someone starting out, a good combo for regular city riding and twisties is the Bridgestone BT010 front and the BT020 rear. The 020 is a slightly harder compound, so the tire lasts longer. The 020 also has

I've bought tires from http://www.discountmotorcycletire.com/ before, but it looks like their site's down right now.

:werd: Discount Motorcycle Tire has the best prices on the net. If you can't find what you are looking for there, Ron Ayers is another good place to check out.

    What kind of bike?

I think I like my M-1s much better than the Dunlops that I have had in the past (207 and 208)...

About 3,000 miles (and less than a month) but that was because I bought it while I was riding across the country and it flat-spotted in the center by the time I got home. If it was more of my typical riding with wear all along the tire, I'm sure it would have lasted longer.
