It's funny, my next biggest site (second most hit) gets 1/10th the hits of ClearCheckbook, and the third most hit site gets about 1/10th the hits of that.

I'm hoping the next site on my development list is 10x larger than ClearCheckbook :x:

Purely through donations. I've made about 750 bucks since November.

I have plans down the road to offer certain features at a price... but that's probably still a year away or so.

Ii might also look into actually letting people advertise, but I don't know if I want to go that route quite yet. I'm not looking at this as a money making endeavor yet. I get money from teh site by having people look at it and then asking me to make sites for them.

I think of it more as a portfolio piece than a way to directly make money. I've had several people contact me about site development because of it. I'm working on finishing one project right now that came about simply because they liked ClearCheckbook.

Nice, I remember when you first started clearcheckbook and posted it in the wallstreet froum.. I think that was you. How have you advertised?

Oh, and my biggest site is pretty small, only like 3,000 uniques per month :p. I work on a lot of little sites and never get anything done :).

 yeah, OT is what made me decide to make it live for other people to use. Up until then it was only a personal site for myself running on my own computer
