I have 2 computers. One is a 2.4 ghz 120 gb P4 and the other is a P2 with 300mhz. I was planning to use the P2/300mhz as my web server. Is that ok? I was planning on running Linux on it. Do you think I need to buy a new computer. I was planning to run a site to download videos from, show pictures and/or to sell car parts. Nothing like a forum or something. Need your advice..
    Thanks

That's plenty. I was running my web server off of a 180mhz box with 64MB RAM. It was running RH7.1 in console mode and no problems came up. Your bandwidth will be a factor before your listed hardware.

If your home bandwidth is no problem, or if you're co-locating, then sure.

I'm running a P100 with RH v6.0 and it serves up pages ok. The bandwidth is the killer though.
