I'm looking to get an online store setup, most of the services I've found so far are the full package (i.e. hosting/setup/yadda yadda). I already have the domain, skills, just need a program. Any advice/links would be greatly appreciated!

OSCommerce and ZenCart are some good open-source php-based ecommerce shops. There are also many commercial carts.

oscommerce is good. it has quote a following with a lot of mods. if you're going to go with a free open source option, i would say oscommerce.

    eww... Go with .NET

Go with VevoCart--a lot of medium to large businesses use that...OS commerce is not bad but PHP is just like ew...compared to real OOP languages

    Anybody here use Shopify? ( http://www.shopify.com )

I've been setting up a shop there to sell belt buckles.

I'm a big fan of CS-Cart. http://www.cs-cart.com/ . Not too expensive, lots of features, excellent support, decent community.

I'm warning against X-Cart. I work with it and it kills me a little inside everyday.

I think I'm close to being able to claim it's less than 50% X-Cart stock though.
