Can anyone recommend a decent but simple webmail software package based on php which I can install onto my web hosting.
I'm in the process of trying Roundcube and Horde but wondered if there was anything else. This is just for personal use and really just needed to have quick access to my emails at work.
I used to use the webmail already on the cpanel but the host upgraded Roundcube which changed the interface which the shitty firewall at work no longer would allow and then they changed some other crap which basically means I can't even log into cpanel and the other webmail had 'mail' in the url which is = instant blocked

www.mail2web.com is fucking cool too, any clones of that about, obviously due to the reason above the domain name is slightly flawed..

I use this for most my domains and tell most customers that google/a is the bomb.

That Google thing seems a bit OTT transferring all my DNS settings etc to Google. I have a good server with mail server and a bunch of email accounts on there. Just need a pop3 webmail access thing.

Just signed up to Google apps on one of my spare domains though heh.. pretty nifty thing, more than I need though.

pop3 should be dropped, and imap should be the only thing left.

Yea but unless i'm misunderstanding this I would be transferring everything to Googles servers. I don't want that.

I installed RoundCube but i'm getting some bloody scripting errors which others have posted about on the sourceforge page. Still at least I can read the emails even if the thing isn't working properly..
