I'll need to get a scanner of course, so I don't have to rely on crappy cellphone shots. :mamoru:

    do it man
i want to start one up too :big grin:

just understand that getting noticed and making it huge are difficult tasks in a thing as big as this ol internet.
but as long as your having fun doing it, and you can make your friends laugh
then thats all that matters...if it hits big then bonus :big grin:

Take a shot at it. Couldn't hurt. You get some good feedback and then you fine tune to hit your audience.

I actually just started drawing again... finishing up a pic of Spidey.

Okay, I had a hilarious idea today at work for an Off Topic comic...
I don't want to give away any details though, because I want to draw it, finish it and release it as a surprise. OTCC will see it in development though. :noes:

I was thinking if I made it comic-length, I could just make it a .cbz file and toss it on WarSkrull, before I posted it anywhere else.

Spider-Man is such a pain in the ass.
At best, his head is egg shaped, so that part ain't too hard...
But the angles, Spidey's all over the fuckin' place.
    Good job :h5:

I stole the pose from Mark Bagley. It was my first attempt at Spidey and I didn't want to do it off a pose in my head :o

I just eyeballed it and changed things where I saw fit.... his pic was an inked pic, so there was a lot less detail.... so yeah :hs:

Looks good regardless. I've never been able to eye-ball a proper spidey. I haven't tried since I had art class three years ago, I dunno'... maybe I'll give it a shot on my day off. Gotta' work on my angles anyway :)

:werd: I know what you mean. I'm gonna start buying some human figure books so I can nail down figure work. I also have a problem drawing symmetrically... For example, I can draw one side of a face well, but when I try to do the other, it always comes out worse than the first try :hs:

So for now, until I can draw characters in my own poses, I'm just gonna rip off other artists and alter to my own desires :o

It works for Greg Land :hsugh:

    Fucking Greg Land...

There was a comic shop in Seattle that sold the actual "comic" paper that the pros use.
But that shit is HUGE. I have no idea how I'd transfer that to my computer.
