All other things aside, which is better for web surfing?

all other things aside, the iphone does have the best web experience WHEN USING WIFI.

For the entire experience, Blackberry wins.

Blackberry > iPhone when not on wifi, or no?

I'm mainly wanting something I can look up stuff while on the road - Google maps, websites of destinations, etc.

in terms of web-surfing-interface the iphone is better. In terms of speed, the BB with EVDO is signifigantly faster.

If you want anything involving maps then you're better off with the BB with GPS.

iPhone's browsing interface is by far the best. Much faster navigation then the others. If you look around you can find some YouTube videos showing how much faster you can navigate around using the iPhone interface vs the others.

Windows mobile has tons more 3rd party programs that are already in existance vs. Apple just recently putting out their SDK.

I have a Tilt and I'm happy with the purchase. I honestly think the keyboard is more useful than the toughscreen, but having both is the ultimate convenience... When I'm surfing the web, I use the touch screen, but when I need to type an email or text, I whip out the keyboard. Try that on an iPhone. Because of that I would say:

    Tilt > Blackberry > iPhone

sorry, WM automatically disqualifies any device.

    BB > iphone > WM

The problem with the Tilt (or in my case, Mogul) is the keyboard is shitty, as well as the touchscreen. The iPhone's screen is glass and doesn't have the mushy feel to it, sensing every time you touch it (without applying pressure, it's electromagnetic, like a laptop touchpad), and it literally is amazing how accurate the predictive text/onscreen keyboard is.

I can, no joke, type faster on my iPhone than I could on my Mogul (and way faster than my HTC Touch, as well).

WEB SURFING... No your mogul is not better than the iphone, I used to have a treo and loved its keyboard. While I admit that i was better at typing with my treo's keyboard than apples on-screen that doesnt make my iphone worse at web browsing. If you dont compare sfari then obviously you haven't used an iphone before so do that before commenting. Ill agree that EDGE sucks dick so ill say blackberry>iphone when not on wifi, iphone>*(up to this moment) when on wifi. WM just plain sucks dick as an OS.

    First:
Open Terminal (found in Applications/Utilities/). In the terminal window, paste in:

    sudo /Applications/TextEdit.app/Contents/MacOS/TextEdit /etc/hosts

Step 3 - Hit return and type in your admin password.

Step 4 - A file will automatically open in TextEdit. In TextEdit, at the bottom of the document, hit return and paste in the following:

    127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com
    127.0.0.1 practivate.adobe.com
    127.0.0.1 ereg.adobe.com
    127.0.0.1 activate.wip3.adobe.com
    127.0.0.1 wip3.adobe.com
    127.0.0.1 3dns-3.adobe.com
    127.0.0.1 3dns-2.adobe.com
    127.0.0.1 adobe-dns.adobe.com
    127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-2.adobe.com
    127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-3.adobe.com
    127.0.0.1 ereg.wip3.adobe.com
    127.0.0.1 activate-sea.adobe.com
    127.0.0.1 wwis-dubc1-vip60.adobe.com
    127.0.0.1 activate-sjc0.adobe.com

Step 5 - Save the file. Do NOT do a ?Save As?. Close the file.

This way the Photoshop application cannot contact the Adobe servers to verify legitimacy. Add your serial. And bam you have a 'legit' copy.

    N95 supports Flash Lite 2.0
latest blackberry supports Flash Lite 2.1
    That's like Flash 7, right?
