What is the best software, code that you guys recommend to use for tracking website statistics? Currently I am using statcounter and not sure if they are the best but have some neat features. Any recommendations?

there really is no good one, even the professional ones can't agree. most hosting companies offer one with the package, start there.

I work for a company that sells our services online (as well as other channels). We use Google, Omniture and Overture for our 1 website.

And I know Netshops uses Omniture. Just go look at source code of random websites.

Heck even my Ebay store comes with Omniture.

 I remember using those stupid ass ones when Geocities was the shit back in the day. But no I am talking about other stats like where people came from, how many unique hits/page refreshes etc. as Much info as I can. I will check out awstats for sure. I really like statcounters came from feature then I can relocated advertising money to the most beneficial one.

Although this is probably a common feature on all services :hs:

I havent really used analytics that much yet, but is there a way to see the exact referring site? When you click referring sites it only gives you the domain pretty much

Yeah, look into google analytics too. You just paste some javascript at the bottom of the page and it does a bunch of crazy reports for you
