What hosting company are you guys with? I need to find a server for several project I'm working on!
i should prally get a dedicated...
very cheap. i have two accounts with them.
Wow, those are some awesome prices! How do you like them? Ever have problems with downtime, bad customer service, etc?
EDIT: And just to clear this up, when they say $50/year, do they mean you pay $50 for the entire year, or $50 a month if you sign up for a year?
no, that's the price. $50/25/20 a year (awesome pricing!). I use them for my side business (www.thebestMCglasses.com). I've been up with them since October, and maybe only 3 times it's been down for a couple hours. You get mail support and AIM support.
http://www.ashst.com. They're great, I can only remember once where they had any downtime at all (that I noticed at least), and I'm on their free hosting which is an awesome deal.
Thanks guys, keep it going!
I use ipowerweb.com
Good people there - $7.95/month I believe.
That is damned amazing! I mean, every other place I've ever looked at charges like $50 a month for as much as you get with the Enterprise package (I think that's what it's called). I maintain a web site for a surf shop in town. I may need to talk to the boss and get him to consider switching there. The hosting company we're with now sucks... Tech support is pretty much non-existant. They've got a phone number, but they say that the best way to contact them is via email. Yet, I'll write them emails and not hear back until I've written them like twice more and two months later.
Not to mention, you can't beat that price!
i host all my stuff (and clients stuff)

I use Webdivisor (www.webdivisor.com) I'm soon getting a couple of dedicated servers though.
whatever you do, do not use GnxOnline, those guys suck ass, I have been looking at iPowerWeb, inMotion and LunarPages...
I just signed up with Lunarpages last week, fast connection, 800MB/40GB with PHP-Nuke for $7.95/month, I love it so far.
