    I was designing a new lay out for my computer repair company and i can not figure out what I am doing wrong. In firefox it desplays right but in IE the buttons do not join together on the left side as they should. Any one have any ideas why it would be doing that or catching any of the code i am doing wrong. http://www.jandrcomputerservices.com/newtemp1.html again in firefox it works good but in IE bad. Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated. thank you and dont mine the old layout:)ugh:) its horrible

    I did that and only makes it wrose. I am not very good with understanding tables i think thats what it is. I think I messed up on the size of the table and thats whats cause it to do that. i tried resizing but no luck.

    Try this in place of yours.
    Code:
    <a href="/index.html" onmouseout="MM_swapImgRestore()" onmouseover="MM_swapImage('Home','','/images1/home2.jpg',1)"><img src="/images1/home.jpg" name="Home" width="127" height="27" border="0"></a>
    <img src="/images1/seconddotts.jpg" height=2>
    <a href="/services.html" onmouseout="MM_swapImgRestore()" onmouseover="MM_swapImage('Services','','/images1/services2.jpg',1)"><img src="/images1/services.jpg" name="Services" width="127" height="29" border="0"></a>
    <img src="/images1/thriddotts.jpg" height=2>
    <a href="/products.html" onmouseout="MM_swapImgRestore()" onmouseover="MM_swapImage('Products','','/images1/products2.jpg',1)"><img src="/images1/products.jpg" name="Products" width="127" height="27" border="0"></a>
    <img src="/images1/fourthdotts.jpg" height=2>
    <a href="/contactus.html" onmouseout="MM_swapImgRestore()" onmouseover="MM_swapImage('Contact us','','/images1/contactus2.jpg',1)"><img src="/images1/contactus.jpg" name="Contact us" width="127" height="29" border="0"></a>
    <img src="/images1/fithdotts.jpg">
    <a href="/links.html" onmouseout="MM_swapImgRestore()" onmouseover="MM_swapImage('Links','','/images1/links2.jpg',1)"><img src="/images1/links.jpg" name="Links" width="127" height="26" border="0"></a>

    Yeah, IE has some weird bug that affects whitespace surrounding images if you don't run the code together. It's a bane to neat, readable code.

    Just one more reason why everybody should be using Firefox.

    Yeah, I've had that problem with IE before too. For some fucking stupid idiotic reason, it seems to be whitespace sensitive.

    Not to be nitpicky, but just to get you out of bad habits early on... You have no Java code in your html file. You have Javascript. Two completely different things despite the similar name.
