Anthony Troianello, 29, was charged Tuesday with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree. Authorities executing a search warrant discovered 15 firearms in his home, including three handguns and seven assault rifles. One rifle was a .50-caliber weapon capable of firing a projectile up to 2 miles, state police said. Broome County Humane Society officials also examined more than 200 animals living on the property, including; 74 dogs, 12 cats, 4 exotic reptiles, 5 pot belly pigs, 2 emus, 8 goats and a llama. At least half of the animals were diseased and will require immediate attention, humane society officials said. The Town of Colesville is 20 miles northeast of Binghamton.
