hello, i'm somewhat a "beginner" on lifting. I've never been to serious about it, and my workouts have been more along the lines of boxing (conditioning). i must admit that i haven't done my shoulders enough, so i started out by doing some lateral raises. my right shoulder is alright, but when i do my left, it clicks and cracks. the heavier the weight, the more uncomfortable it gets. my friend says that i should just keep working out so i can develop the muscle necessary to support the bones and to strengthen the shoulder, but i can't help but feel weary everytime i work out my shoulders. what should i do? is this normal for a "beginner"? thanks a lot for responses!
