weaksauce attempt at bracketing
Played around with bracketing this afternoon
and the final image...
it was a quick photoshop job so dont mind the top of the hills abit dark
Here is a better one, actually spent few more minutes on it
but I also realized I shot most of my pics today at 800ISO
what is bracketing?
If exposure range is more than two or three stops, the camera takes two successive shots at a lower exposure and one at a higher exposure. These two nearly-identical images are then combined via software, and the image will (theoretically) appear to be perfectly exposed.
It is particularly useful for bright backgrounds with dark foregrounds or subjects.
This wont work very well for quick-moving subjects.
Edit: as for the photo(s) in this thread, the finished product looks too dark on my screen, but it is a shitty work monitor. Second attempt is a great improvement over the first.
