    okay, so i have a 6g in my left ear which was stretched from an initial 20g stud.

    this happened about a year ago.

    so now, i want to get my right ear done as well. How would you guys suggest one going about doing this? I want the initial piercing to not hurt like hell, but to be as close to 6 as possible.

    also, i want the hole to be able to close normally, i dont know how 'punch out' piercings close later in time...

    also, a little thing, im a guy and am thinking about also getting a cartilage piercing. what kind of cartilage piercing is most common on a guy and what ear should it be done on? (assuming i will have both of my ears pierced by this time)

    get it pierced at a 6g. wont really hurt much more. its bearable. the hole will close up normally without a problem. as for cartilage, any place on the ear and either side. none of them carry any meaning.

    Forgive me for not knowing the full background and history of piercings and the "habits" of the gay community involving them.

    If you'll notice, i did not state it as fact, hence the "I thought" and the question mark at the end of the sentance. I'd never thought the topic an important enough question to bring up during normal conversation, so excuse my ignorance on the subject.

    In short, get fucked.

    well, you're right. the right ear alone would hint that you were homosexual.

    but i have my left ear pierced also, so after this piercing i will have both my right and left ear pierced. this carries no meaning toward sexual preference.

    as for the cartilage, i don't know if any side means anything, which is why i posted here.

    My ears go;
    L & R- 4g-6g

    then I have my right ear cartilage done.

    well, its all done. neither piercing really hurt during the actual piercing. but now, the cartilage really hurts (14g) and the lobe (12g) isn't that bad i guess. i pray this stuff heals properly, i wanna get stretchin on the right lobe.
