So my tongue and industrial jewelry have been in quite some time and they really do smell.

What is the best way to take that smell away?

soaking jewellery in peroxide seems to take the smell away for a bit. be sure to wash it off thoroughly before re-inserting it

I usually soak mine in alcohol like metho or rubbing alcohol. Make sure you rinse tho.

Tongue jewelry always gets me. I usually just soak mine in a shotglass of listerine once a week and that keeps it from smelling. Actually, since I've had Anatometal titanium jewelry in my tongue, I've had absolutely no problems with it smelling or accumulating anything except a very small amount of plaque if not cleaned every once in a while.

My plugs I have to take out every other day, but a little soap and water gets them really clean, as they're pyrex and nothing sticks to them

yeah whats a good way to clean plugs? well i have double flares so i dont really like to keep taking them in and out because it stretches the whole a bit to take it out, so when i put it back in...its a little loose..

mine are double flares too, and the best way i've found to clean them fully is to take them out. A decent way to get them clean without taking them out is to use a little rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip and push the plug all the way back or all the way forward and clean around the edges

sounds good. thats what i usually do. just wondered if there were any other options i could do :)

i would take them out if my holes werent so weird! i dont like to mess around with the plugs because my ears stretch real easily...so once i take them out or mess with it, it stretches the wholes a little. either that or theyre just a bitch to get them back in :squint:

but ive decided im going down to a 0g. so hopefully once i get to that, it wont stretch so easily?
