I got bored tonight so I decided to wax my wheels, I felt weird doing it though, almost like it was too much. They're painted too btw. Has anyone else done this?

If they're painted it's probably a good idea to wax them. It will protect the paint from contaminants, such as brake dust.

you can wax them, its good for the clear coat over them.. chrome wheels are the same way..

I always wax my wheels, I don;'t have the time to whash my car every week so my wheels get all dirty and full of brake dust.. The wax helps to get the stuff off and protects the paint form the brake dust from burning in...
