Just got a brand new Black MacBook last week, coming from a PC. I really love this thing, but I don't know what the fuck I'm doing. I've been talking to Liddy, she's really the reason I got this thing.

My question, does anyone offer classes or something on how to really get into this thing? I mean, I know it has TONS of potential, but I don't even know where to start.

I live close enough to Cupertino, anything there?

Fuck, I guess I'm just going out on a limb here...

any help would be appreciated, thanks

I work in cupertino, if you want I can meet with you until you feel comfortable using the OSX platform. I work with K-12 teachers to make them feel more comfortable using technology in their ciriculum.

    send me a pm.

Yeah, I remember using the good ol Apple IIe in elementary school and the Macintosh in middle school, but that was soooo long ago.

My mind has been brainwashed with windows for the past 15 years or so.

also, you can go to the apple store and they'll teach you stuff for free. probably want to check online though--they may have a pre-set schedule or take appointments

I can guarantee that most people poting on macshack know 2x as much as the average apple retail employee. If you want to learn, this forum is the best place to ask questions.
