Anyway, I just got into SLR photography a couple of weeks ago as some of you know. I'm really starting to enjoy it and have been doing a lot of reading and pretty much got the technical part down of exposures and such....anyway, would it be a smart idea to sign my photographs with "whatever photography" in photoshop, or will the more advanced photographers make fun of me :hs: or should I wait until my photo taking skills develop.

This question also applies to adding borders and such in photoshop.

    Sorry to bother ya'

    :)

if someone is going to steal something they will just crop the watermark off unless you make it really obnoxious and ruin the image anyway. just dont post a bunch of amazing full res shots and i dont think you will have any issues.

and yes you will get made fun of.

by the time your images are worth anyone actually wanting to lift them, this question will have answered itself for you.
