I'm going to New Zealand in May, and am going on this "safari" tour:

    http://www.dartriver.co.nz/dartriver/WildernessSafari/

Seeing as it's a 1.5hr jet boat ride, i have a feeling my camera will get slightly damp. i don't need to put it in a waterproof housing or anything, but would anyone recommend some sort of clear bag or something to put over the camera?

I obviously still want to use it, but would like it if nothing except the lens element was exposed.

    :dunno:

wrap it in a garbage bag and use gaffer tape to set it so you can poke the lens out and stick your hand in etc:dunno:

if you had a weather sealed body you wouldn't have to worry about:mamoru:

40D has some weather sealing, but nothing like the 1D's.

i'd like it to look the least bit retarded, if possible. :o

If I was going to New Zealand on a safari tour I wouldn't be satisfied with just a P&S

First ctrl-c copy the link that you want to link to. Type in the word that you want to use to link, such as "THESE". In the reply box there is a little button that has a blue globe and a silver chain link. Click on that button (while "THESE" is still highlighted) then past in the URL that you want to link to.

Or, alternatively, if you like typing it out like I do

    word

omitting the space before the closing square bracket in each
