Some of these guys look pretty fit with low body fat, do you think they train during the season at all or just on the off season? Some have great phisiques for being like 6'6 or taller :eek3:

Some NBA players that are/were jacked:

Karl Malone - pretty dang huge arms
Ron Artest - 6'9 260. He doesn't look that big but his legs must be huge.

As the season progresses lots of them lose a lot of their muscles. Maybe it has something to do with all the running they do?

If they train during the season, it's probably pretty minimal. I'd imagine they still do work out though, just at a much lower intensity and frequency compared to off season training

It depends on the player. Some stick to a strict off-season training regimen others sometimes don't do shit.

I read an article back when Jordan was in his heyday with the bulls and he used to lift almost every day... even before games. not huge weight, but lots of shoulder, back bi/tri,and chest work... (although he had a wee-mans chest) his arms and shoulders were pretty big...

he also used to have a steak dinner before (not right before) games as well..

I really don't see a purpose for why they would be juicing

yeah, i'm pretty sure these guys lift all year long. Most NBA team trainers have their guys lift at 2-3 times a week (with conditining and endurance as prorities). During the off-season, it's open game. That's when players decide if they want to put on muscle, get cut or get big.

you can tell players like ben wallace and corey magette definitely lift - those guys are ripped, while others such as carmello probably do the bare minimum required by trainers.

MOST nba players dont lift heavy during the year. the fitness channel had a nba player special with austin croshere of the pacers, he said that during the season because of the sheer frequency of the games that when they do have a day to lift its like very light squats, lunges, & core work.

Being "jacked" isnt anywhere near the top of the list of their priorities. Look at some of the top guys in the league, steve nash, garnett, duncan, t-mac. These guys seriously lack mass. It's all about stamina, speed, agility/flexibility, & skill.
