i already know i need to work more off my back ....

i had a base ball choke pretty much set up, just had to let him pass my guard... but i am like 60 percent with those, so i didn't wanna let him pass my guard then i lose the choke and let him get points

it was a pretty sad display ... oh well here it is

Its all experience man. W or L you still are getting better.

Im sure youve watched and examined the video 1000x so ill keep it short.

Work your half guard, you lost the underhook pretty early which is going to make things difficult on you. Reaching over the guys back with you leg (left leg in the video) is going to do nothing, put it in as a butterfly hook and use it to lift and make space. You probably could have forced his face to the mat away from your head and scrambled as things got worse.

    Thanks for posting :bigthumb:

    you started off so well!

    my tips-

You didn't shrimp much (if at all) when you got/getting passed
you seemed afraid to open your guard

You made some pretty elementary level errors from the get go. First, somebody gives you his back, this should be the end of the match right there, no excuses, secure the python crunch, get the body triangle locked in bro, squeeze every last breath of air out of him, if he resists, soften him up with some tiki temple punches, trust me, he won't like that one bit, the goal here is to basically flatten him out ala Royce vs. Hughes , then secure a double reverse chin lock and DING DING DING winner winner chicken dinner.

It's not like you went into that fight expecting to have a 400-0 record. People lose. You learn from your loss and become better from it.
