Depends on the caliber and what type of stock it has.

I might be wrong, but I thought somebody told me before that one side of the rec. is stamped Wasr and the other side is stamped Sar1 or 2. I might be wrong though.............so pretty much, this entire reply might be worthless to you. :hs:

KVAR is pretty good for the plastic/synthetic stocks... i switched the wood out of my WASR 10/GP... As far as markings, it'll say WASR 10 on the side, and prolly something about century arms. Be sure to look for canted sights, gas block, bayo lug, and barrel threads

rapid fire as many rounds as you can to heat it up and get the cosmoline out. Bump-fire ftw.

if you dont' want to go with Kvar, i think midway usa has some front handguards in black plastic, that don't have all the lines all over it, if you want a smoother look, it's what i did. Though the ones made by KVAR come with heat shields, and tacticool accessory rails if you want.

Will a stock labelled as an "AK74 stock" still fit an AK47? I need a new one myself. The one I had was too small in the first place, and now I really need one since the screws snapped off inside the stock a week ago.

fixed polymer or wood stock? generally yes, but make sure its for the same type of reciever, milled wont fit in a stamped gun and vice versa.
