    Anyone notice that?

I'm not a real strong guy, but I've goten up from a max of 190 to 220 as of today in the last three months. I try and jump to too much weight because the 1RM charts tell me that I can do that weight based on reps. So on monday (month ago) for instance I tried 210 and didn't get it and 205 went up slowly. Since I do bench on friday (month ago) too I threw up 210 like it was nothing. Same thing happened today, on monday I couldn't get 220 but 215 went up slowly. Today I threw up 220, attempted 225 and it just wouldn't lock out (got it to the point where I could get it back on the rack but not fully locked out). Is there anything other than psyching myself for lifts to get myself mentally ready?

why am i a bad ass?

it keeps my mind from not focusing on stressing over a lift, i stay relaxed, and do better.

it goes to the side of my mouth during. not all that hard. i can even pee and chew at the same time.

I've swallowed during a lift one time, hah. Oh well, not that it doesn't stop me from doing it.

I find my mental focus has a lot to do on how I preform at the gym. Long, hard day at the office = shitty numbers.

I try to workout before work (or during lunch, go 90 min lunches!), since I notice that is when I'm able to put up bigger numbers and focus more about the task on hand... the weights.
