I haven't really taken many shots lately, but I just washed the car and thought it deserved some camera love. I would appreciate some C&C.

    .

For photo shoot purposes that plate needs to go.

1st pic the inconsistency of the trees are distracting and the vignetting/black corners really bothers me. Shadow on the left bottom corner is annoying too.

    2nd pic it's crooked

3rd pic, I've probably have seen this many many times. It's really played out.

Best time to take pics are at sunrise. Get to it.

    Oh, and bring a tripod.

    thanks for the honest input.

i'll take the C&C. 1st pic info is good advice. I noticed the 2nd was crooked after I uploaded it. could be better with a little cropping and rotating I think. I kinda thought the 3rd was a played out concept, but I still liked how it turned out :hsd:

WB seems to be off. Unless the car really is a cream white.

Is your car really that color, or is the WB way off?

I noticed it too. But I'm pretty sure Audis are that creamy. But then again it kinda looks like a burnt cream.

yea, i noticed the white balance was a bit warm in the first two. it's more accurate in the 3rd one.

other people mentioned it but yes, lighting is the biggest problem w/ #1. i'm not pro either so i don't just wake up early for the sunrise to take pictures so i'd suggest just finding an area with better lighting. drive to a west (or eastward) facing trees that are in the light.

first picture also looks a little boring to me. the car is not really highlighted as the subject. i guess not easy when it's just a white car but you need to make it stand out from the surroundings. so trees were a good idea but maybe minus that gap in the middle. larger % of the shot as the car. having something in/on the car that draws the eye towards it.

not having the rings on the grill sort of weakens it too because now, it's just a car as opposed to an audi. message i saw from the first one (before i saw the others) was: come drive out to our forest and experience nature, or something like that. get what i mean.
