or $.50 a round?
What is it?
hollow tips .40 S&W
I think the cheapest box they sell is $26 so yeah. I paid $1 a round for my carry ammo
I paid that much for RA9T, so yes.
im afraid to shoot it at a range...money down the drain
Really should put atleast a box through the gun if its going to be your carry ammo so you know it'll feed properly and all.
I like the DT stuff in my .45 and 10, still using rangers in my 9mm and .40 though.
Why do you use so many different calibers?
why not? I only wish I had dedicated presses for each caliber.
G29 is my main carry gun now, but before I got it I use to switch up between my p99's frequently but usually carried the .40.
A bunch of presses would be sweet. I can load the same 10mm I buy from DT I got a bag of barnes xpb bullets but I figure if I ever had to actually use it I'll end up crucified in court using my own loads vs packaged ammo.
Yeah, I wouldn't suggest using anything but factory in my SD guns. I can make loads that mirror the rounds using a chrono and practice with those.
Agreed. I personally run at least 200 rounds of what I plan to carry thru a new or freshly reworked gun.
I just think it'd be easier to locate ammo if needed and can be used in all my guns.
box of 50 winchester rangers in 40 cal were $18
Locate ammo? As in SHTF situation? If so, then wouldn't it be prudent to have all platforms on hand should you find any ammo you can always shoot it?
But I'm assuming you mean from a "cost" stand point. But we're not all restricted. It's just as cheap for me because I am able to reload all of them and I've got some disposable income to fool around with.
I need to learn to reload, before getting a rifle.
