How did you fall down stairs? I would ask if you got too top heavy, but something about squatting 6 plates per side makes me think you were well-balanced.

I was walking down my APT comcrete stepps and there was a 6" nail on the step. i stood on it and it rolled. taking my feet out from under me. I flew about 6' down the steps and landed on my back. the impact herniated a vertiba and did some other damage to it. The doc said the only reason i didnt destroy my entire spine was because of the thickness of the muscle on my back, but i landed with a step in the small of my back.

A 6" nail standing upright aka piercing through your shoe and into your foot? Either way, that's really shitty, but it's good to know that your muscles prevented even more serious injuries.

My girlfriend asked me why I deadlift. I told her among the obvious reasons, I do it because I want the muscles that support my spine to be the strongest. Now I can tell her your story so that she'll fully understand.

you should utilise the bounce at the bottom to power yourself out of the hole if you;re going to go a2g, dont do a double bounce like you were then

    but yeah it was deep

What about all the people that say you should go as low as possible always (unless you are doing a PL record)? Christophers just made a post about that a while ago.
