What kind of rep/set/weight (as % of 1RM) do you do to warm up for a max attempt?
Different every time for me. Different for each "attempt" on what body part.
Seeing as I don't max anymore...the least I'll do is 3 on anythign other than deads.
I'll start with a nice 20 rep warm up and stretch out
then I'll go down to about a good 5 reps with a weight I can do about 10 with. Then I'll stretch some more...then I'll go into a 3 rep with somethign I can get about 6-8 with...then I'll do a nice slow and controlled rep with a weight I can do about 4 or 5 with. Then I'll make the attempt.
