4 years?!?! Holy shit ! Well deserved bro! Good luck with your training.

The only part that sucks when you first get it is the big ass target that all the whites and other blues paint on your back.

I have not trained full time at phil's academy for those 4 years. I train and teach at another dojo that does jiu jitsu among other things, and have crosstrained with phil whenever I could those 4 years. The last 6 months I have been doing a lot of privates with mr cardella and this year have dedicated myself to training at his academy once a week.

True, but the blues all of a sudden roll with you like they like you, and not like the finals of NAGA.

actually training is pretty much the best thing I can do for my body, it strengthens my nervous system enough to handle whatever my illness can throw at me. like anyone it can wear on you physically but I love it, and also make sure to push myself but at the same time am careful not to overdo it. I have a really good balance in my life.

i'd rather have a target on my back than everyone I don't know assume I don't know anything.

gotta have people around who want to kick your ass if you ever want to get better right? I wouldn't train at phil's if I wanted an easy time of it.
