This dvd has the most intense bass I've ever heard in a movie. Be careful with the volume if you watch it because this dvd can bring most subwoofers to their knees.

Black Hawk Down rotors on Black Hawk FTW :)

But I agree, imagine what WoTW would be like on like a Harley 24" or a Velo HGS-18, etc.

I'm sure they weren't selling very many of them. I'd rather have a pair of PB-12 Ultra/2's anyways.

Heh, most likely. We actually are getting Krell master refrance subwoofers and I also think we will be moving some Theil 7.2s in there for the fronts. We change the theater up a lot.

finally listened to it with my sub

my sub never really stressed that much but that could be due to volume issues on the sub itself and the fact everything was so loud it couldve covered the distortion, system was turned to like 90-93% volume.

my sub is crossed over around 80hz

volume on sub was around 40%, 1 port open

When I was in the theatre watching this they actually poped a VC on one of the woofers. Stunk something feirce but I couldn't help but laugh. Got annoying because it poped in the first appearance of them so you could hear the flapping/grinding sound through the rest of the movie.

But probally my best movie bass experience was in the theatre of Star Wars EP 1 when I was younger. The force push in the begining of the movie litterly made my stomache hurt. It was great. At the time it was suposedly one of the top ten audio systems in the world.

the best continuous bass was infact at the first appeaance with the rising from the ground (not really a spoiler) the bass is low and continuous i think my sub mightve flinched once or twice, my favorite sound effect is the one the machines emited when they appeared into a new area.

special effects in this movie pwned visual and audio

as far as movies in bass i never realy run across anything too impressive, oh wait, batman begins had some crazy bass shit, when i listened to that movie it was the ONLY time i heard stuff shake on the other end of my room, my subs not even corner loaded either :noes:
