    lcd's right now suck (IMO)

they are blury, low dp (dot pitch, dont double penitration... i know what u were thinking....) and for a decent one you end up paying more.

17-19" CRT's are where its at. no more then 350cnd for higher end one! the nec fe771sb (i have 2) and they rule and cost only 225cnd now!

i know. I went into a local store computer store and they had one of my favorite games (ut2k3) playing on a 17" lcd. It wasn't tearing or anything like that but the picture quality was horrible in comparison to my 21" crt. LCD's are just cool looking :p

Got it from work. It takes about 5 minutes to warm up. Durring which all the pixels move horizontaly about 2-3 inches. :ugh:

So I just turn it on in the morning and leave it on till I go to bed.

    That sucks. :hs:

I've always wanted an LCD or two or three.. but don't want to shell out the cash. I don't do gaming.. so that aspect would never bother me.

I wouldn't mind having a high-end LCD, but for my money I'll stick with CRT for now. My 19" CRT is great :bigthumb:

(actually, I'm only posting to check my post count)

my benq 17" FP767B blows any CRT i've ever used off the face of the earth. gaming is far better and 2d is so much clearer. nothing better than watching a dvd on a lcd monitor. :big grin:

They're still normal CRT size, but the front of them are flat, like a pug.
Makes the monitor much easier on the eyes.
