Want your opinion on some shit

    If you can answer any of these, that would be great. Once again, I'm ectomorph looking to bulk and put on as much mass as possible. IE low reps, heavy weight practically every exercise


    1) Friend of mine does an extremely complicated amount of different exercises each day so he can hit Idk, 3 muscles a day. Sets the recovery up so that he basically can work out every muscle everday if he wanted to. I think he mentioned thats what Arnold did. I'm doing Purs routine. Just keep the shit simple right? Is his idea stupid? He only gets in a few more exercises a week in then me

    2) I read somewhere that mass protein slows down the metabolism, so don't even worry about protein after workout so much a ton of calories and some sugar helps as well. What do you think for an ectomorph?

    3) Same said friend of mine incorporates some kind of leg exercise every workout. Says this way he'll see faster improvements this way becase the legs will stimulate the upper work he did that day. Not really important or what?

    4) When can I incorporate pushups while at home, if at all? On off days only? Hours before a workout? I would like to be able to hit 100 pushups for the pure pride of it

    2. Protien after a workout is good

    3. No, oly lifters squat almost every time they train but for your goals I wouldn't

    4. You could do pushups on your chest day as a finisher. Although I don't think it is necesary. If you improve your maximal strength doing pushups with your BW will become easier.


    As far as low reps with heavy weigh on everything I do not agree with that. Pick one exercise for the day (bench, squat, deadlift, OHP, etc) and go heavy on that but the rest of your stuff should be higher reps.

    Aight works for me. I'm high as fuck right now so won't say much else than that. K.i.s.s? So what should I aim for? 6 reps max and 12 rep max? And forget 1 rep max weight deadlifts/bench/squat for now correct?

    On your main exercise for the day work up to a heavy set of 5 and then rest of your shit do in the 8-15 rep range.
