    AMD 2200+ 1.8GHz processor.
    512 mb ram
    100 gig HD

It has an intergrated video card, which is what I figure needs upgraded first. Has the empty slot in the motherboard for a card.

I am not a big gamer or anything, but I do want some sort of audio/video in and out to watch movies/play music in my family room off the HD and capture vids off TV, etc. S-Video maybe?
Not wanting to spend over $150 on the video card.

Also, it has a 250W power supply, when does this need upgraded?

The ram/memory/and processor all are pretty well up to date. I would first off upgrade the video card probably since you want to capture movies, etc. If you don't play a lot of games, I wouldn't worry about upgrading the processor or memory.

Recommended video cards in the $100-$150 range?

What to look for and to what to avoid with video cards? Where is the money best spent with a video card? Would like to leave the possibilty of future moderate gaming open.

    Thanks.
